Michael Constas is the Head of RTL and a Portfolio Manager at Saluda Grade. He brings almost 20 years of investment experience across a wide range of whole loans and structured products. Most recently, Mr. Constas was a portfolio manager at Axonic Capital, where he was responsible for establishing and managing an RTL strategy primarily encompassing whole loans and securities. Prior to that, he was a portfolio manager at Verus Mortgage Capital, after spending eight years at Varadero Capital where he traded various RMBS/ABS/CDO securitized products and managed whole loan portfolios. He started his finance career in 2006 at NIBC Bank where he was an RMBS analyst on the ABS CDO desk. Mr. Constas holds a BA from Pitzer College and an MBA from Fordham University.
