Andy Capps is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of RESICAP, a vertically integrated real estate investment and operating company focused on the single-family rental industry. Since founding the company in 2010, he has led its evolution from a regional acquisition platform into a diversified real estate operating platform with businesses spanning acquisitions, asset management, property management, renovations, build-to-rent, and investment management. The RESICAP family of companies includes ResiHome, a national property management platform, and ResiPro, a leading renovation and construction services company serving institutional owners across the country.
Over the past 15 years, Andy has overseen the acquisition, renovation, management, and disposition of tens of thousands of homes while helping deploy billions of dollars of institutional capital across the residential real estate sector. Throughout his career, he has partnered with many of the nation's largest institutional investors, homebuilders, lenders, and capital providers to develop and scale investment platforms, operational infrastructure, and innovative housing solutions.
In 2026, Andy led the successful sale of RESICAP's build-to-rent development and home building business, ResiBuilt, to Invitation Homes, the nation's largest owner and operator of single-family rental homes. The transaction marked another milestone in RESICAP's history of building and scaling market-leading businesses while allowing the company to continue expanding its remaining operating platforms.
Andy is passionate about building businesses at the intersection of real estate, technology, and operations. He is actively involved in developing innovative solutions that improve the way homes are acquired, renovated, managed, and sold. His expertise spans investment strategy, capital markets, operational excellence, and scaling high-growth organizations.
As a member of the IMN Single Family Rental West Advisory Board, Andy brings the perspective of an entrepreneur, owner, and operator who has helped shape the evolution of the institutional single-family rental and built-to-rent industry from its earliest stages into one of the fastest-growing asset classes in real estate.
