Taylor Shultz is a partner of Porter Kyle, a Phoenix-based vertically integrated Build-to-Rent builder and developer that owns and manages a portfolio of Townhome Build-to-Rent communities throughout Arizona. Porter Kyle self performs the construction of their BTR communities and also provides third-party general contracting services for/to other BTR and multifamily developers through their parent company Porter Kyle Builders. Taylor brings over 20 years of experience in the acquisition, development, financing, management and disposition of BTR communities and apartments. Taylor is responsible for overseeing Porter Kyle’s investment strategy and managing financial relationships, both debt and equity. He oversees Porter Kyle’s site selection process, land acquisitions, community lease-ups, ongoing asset management, property disposition and future investments. Currently, Porter Kyle has three BTR townhome developments totaling roughly $150 million in the entitlement pipeline in Phoenix’s East and Southeast Valleys, as well as an under-construction project in Chandler.
