Global Lead, Clinical IRT and GSC Digital Operations at Biogen

Bjoern Rosner carries an MS in Physics and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering. After innovating new Pharma anti-counterfeiting technologies based on Nanotechnology for a decade, he joined Biogen 12 years ago where he held a number of operational and change management roles. He started Biogen’s Anti-Counterfeiting program and is also responsible for inception, roll-out and operationalization of Biogen’s Commercial product Serialization capabilities. More recently, he initiated the Digital Value Creation program, an initiative co-led with Commercial to innovate digital solutions with direct patient value such as electronic leaflets and adherence solutions.

Bjoern joined the Clinical Supply Chain organization in 2023 in the role of Global Lead, Clinical IRT and GSC Digital Operations. Besides IRT, this role encompasses leading the clinical operations capability team which manages data, systems, projects, accounting, quality operations and bulk logistics. In the IRT space, Bjoern’s team manages vendor relations as well as all global needs for IRT systems across their lifecycle.
