Professor.Ali Saeed Alghamdi, His Excellency the President of the National RoadSafety Center and Project Manager of Saudi Road Code Project.

Prof. Alghamdi has a PhD Civil Engineering degree (Transportation and Traffic) from Ohio State University, he also has twomaster’s degrees in statistics and civil engineering (transportation and traffic) from Ohio University, and a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from King Saud University.

Prof. Ali Saeed Alghamdi’s experience extends to more than 30 years, during which he held several administrative positions, including: Advisor to the General Traffic Department, Advisor to His Excellency the Minister of Transportation, Chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee, Head of the Traffic Engineering Division of the Saudi Council of Engineers, and Vice Dean of King Saud University for Studies and Scientific Research. General Supervisor of the National Transformation Program within Vision 2030 at the Ministry of Education, responsible for the file of the Ministry of Transport and Logistics in the strategic goal of “enhancing traffic safety,” and head of the National Road Safety Center.

During his professional career, his excellency the president of the national center for road safety worked as a member of a many specialized committees, and scientific councils. He has a patent registered in the United States of America as well as having published several books specialized in traffic studies and statistics in engineering. Additionally, he wrote a collection of papers in global and local magazines about transport engineering issues.
