Dr. Umair has over 15 years’ experience in advanced engineering consulting and project management of large-scale road infrastructure sustainability and safety projects. His primary expertise are in net-zero road transport systems, improving mobility and traffic safety across the five pillars of Safe System, and application of new technologies such as Level 3 and above automation to advance V2V and V2I communications for a safe and sustainable road transport system. He is also the consultant project manager for the multi-million Abu Dhabi Vision Zero Strategy Implementation project towards a 2040 target of zero road trauma.
