George is currently the Business development & Partnership Director at Emirates Driving Company.

George is also IRU Academy Manager, working to implement the international accredited training institute best practice for a wide of professional training courses and driver assessments.

He was part of the executive management as a GM for Emirates Motorsport Organisation (Automobile & Touring Club of the UAE) enabling the club growth in Abu Dhabi mainly at the digital transformation of the club services allowing automated, smart and seven stars features; also, he is reshaping the club structure and offerings.

George was a former programme manager at the UAE office at Transport Research Laboratory – TRL; providing world leading Transportation Research and Consultancy to Public and Private sector organisations and building the Future of Transport globally. As an Arabic speaker with Middle East experience, he was responsible for developing and maintaining internal and external stakeholder relations and liaison for a diverse set of projects and research studies. His business development capabilities cover most of the transport research areas including latest transport technologies and innovative projects in smart vehicles and infrastructures, ULEV, road safety, transportation, Road Safety Education, Awareness Campaigns, Virtual & Augmented reality, AI, behavioural changes and many other areas.

He also worked as head of Marketing and Partnership in the Emirates Driving Company for seven years, where he has developed many unique projects, traffic awareness campaigns ( i.e. Leading on Salama Initiative with Emirates Foundation, on Abu Dhabi RSE committee, Road safety Ambassador for AD police…) , traffic-related research and driver training in partnership with leading organizations at the global level to ensure the best international standards and he has provided many opportunities for partnership internationally and locally.
