Born in 1979, with a law degree from the Federico II University of Naples and a master's degree in business management from Bocconi University, Roberto Impero is CEO of SMA RoadSafety, an Italian excellence at an international level for the robustness, reliability and innovation of its road safety devices: crash cushions, barrier terminals, emergency gates, side barriers and traffic monitoring systems.

He is gold member of PIARC-World Road Association and Assosegnalatica, member of the Italian Union of Metallic Construction Industry (UNICMI) and of the International Road Federation (IRF), former Vice President of Confindustria Caserta, as well as an expert in road safety and author of the book "How I save your life".

He actively participates as a speaker at national and international conferences in the sector. Together with AFVS- Association of Family Victims of the Road, he launched the #stopstradekiller project, dedicated to the identification of unprotected obstacles on Italian roads.

His motto, taken from the Talmud, is "Who saves one life saves the whole world" and therefore he is active in numerous campaigns to disseminate best practices on road safety
