Samya has 29 years of experience in leading projects on varied aspects of transport planning, engineering, modelling and appraisal. Samya has a wide range of project experience related to policy/ strategy formulation and detailed analytical planning/ modelling/ appraisal leading to implementation of schemes, across various countries and continents. Samya has contributed towards development of bespoke analytical/modelling tools and contributed to development of practice guidance on various aspects of transport planning/ modelling for different agencies in UK and Europe. Samya has been a steering committee member of the IMMO (Intelligent Mobility, Management and Operation) group, and a member of the council in the Association for European Transport (AET); and also, the lead author of the recently published book “Modelling Pedestrian Movements” by ICE.
