Profile
Amy is a patent litigator with extensive experience in the life sciences sector, aided by her technical background in biochemistry. She has worked on numerous high-profile cases before the UK courts, as well as coordinating global multi-jurisdictional litigation and supporting EPO opposition proceedings. Her experience includes the full spectrum of innovator vs innovator, innovator vs generic, innovator vs biosimilar and biosimilar vs biosimilar disputes concerning a range of compound, medical use, dosing regimen, process and formulation patents in relation to both biologic and small molecule pharmaceuticals.
Amy is an editor of the EPLAW patent blog, attends and speaks at international IP conferences and organises and lectures on the IP module of the University of Cambridge’s MPhil in Bioscience Enterprise.
Amy is also a founding member of the London leadership committee of the ChIPs network, an organisation focused on advancing and connecting women in technology, law and policy.
