Networking at the it law summer school
As well as being a fantastic learning opportunity, the IT Law Summer School is also a chance to make lasting connections with other young lawyers from across the world, and from both private practice and in-house.
There are chances to network throughout the day, and each evening you can relax in the company of your colleagues with our nightly activities that take in the sights of historic Cambridge and give you a taste of student life at the college.
Networking breaks
Our regular breaks throughout the summer school provide an opportunity to discuss the course (and hopefully enjoy the sunshine) with your fellow attendees alongside refreshments.
Gala dinner
On Wednesday, enjoy a gala dinner in the historic college dining hall by candlelight. Formal dress/black tie is encouraged!
Punting
The River Cam runs past many of the oldest colleges in Cambridge. Get a fantastic view of King's College Chapel, the Wren Library and the Bridge of Sighs from just above the waterline.
Pub quiz
Teams of delegates and speakers pit themselves against each other in our pub quiz. A British tradition and the college bar will, of course, be open. A great way to get to know everyone at the start of the week.
Tour of historic Cambridge
This guided walking tour of Cambridge led by expert guides will help you unravel the historic past of this university town. From the Corpus Clock, to Watson & Crick; from strange traditions around St Mary's Church to the mysteries of how students got a car on top of Senate House!
College bar
Open during the Monday BBQ & Quiz, as well as Thursday before the gala dinner, the college bar serves a wide range of both soft and alcoholic beverages (not included in the ticket price. Card only, no cash). And if that isn't enough for you, you can always ask our team about the Cambridge nightlife!
Sponsorship Opportunities
Position your firm at the forefront of the industry by sponsoring one (or many) networking activities.
Through our tailored partnership packages, your firm takes on a branding or thought-leadership role, fostering enduring relationships that extend far beyond the event.
