Profile

Laura is a partner in Slaughter and May’s IP/Tech group and advises clients on the full spectrum of IP, tech and commercial contracts matters. On the tech side, Laura advises on all areas of traditional and emerging technologies, including blockchain, AI and Internet of Things, both in an advisory capacity and as part of wider transactions.

M&A is at the core of Laura’s practice – she has extensive experience of advising on technology-focussed acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures and minority investments including the ongoing servicing elements of those transactions. Beyond the M&A context, Laura frequently advises clients in the public sector and the private sector on the full lifecycle of outsourcings and complex technology arrangements, from negotiation to implementation to renegotiation and exit.

Across this spectrum of work, Laura’s clients cover a wide range of industries – from retail to logistics to financial institutions, and she maintains a particular interest in life sciences work.
