Tara Lyons is a highly regarded barrister specialising in financial provision in life and death including financial remedies claims and contentious probate and inheritance disputes. In particular Tara’s in-depth knowledge of matrimonial finance law makes her ideally suited to act in spouse claims brought under the 1975 Act. Tara has appeared in a number of well known reported cases including in the Court of Appeal and is consistently ranked as a leading individual in the Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 directories. In addition to her work at the bar, Tara is also an experienced mediator and accepts instructions to act as a judge in private FDRs/ENEs (whether remotely or in person) and she co-presents the Pump Court Family Law podcast which has twice been nominated for the Lexis Nexis Family Law Commentator of the Year award.
