Carrie AlmCorporate Counsel at AlloSourceSpeaker
Profile
Carrie R. Alm is Corporate Counsel at AlloSource, a human tissue bank in Denver, where she has spent the past nine years leading the organization's legal function. A heart and liver recipient, Carrie brings a personal understanding of AlloSource's life-saving mission to her work. In that time, she has negotiated contracts across the organization, redesigned the contract lifecycle from the ground up, and now leads IP strategy, AI governance, and corporate compliance.
Prior to joining AlloSource, Carrie ran a boutique solo practice providing specialized research and writing services to small firms and solo practitioners across family law, railroad litigation, trusts & estates—and anything else that needed deep research. She later managed complex e-discovery projects before transitioning to appellate criminal defense, where she submitted briefs to the Colorado Court of Appeals and the Colorado Supreme Court.
Carrie holds a J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and an undergraduate degree in animal science from Colorado State University, with a minor in religious studies.
