Simon Olivier of GE Canada, spoke today at FEI Toronto & Consumer Insights Canada about how to transform ideas to innovation through open collaboration.
What's really key are partnerships. In June they launched with a $1 million ecomagination open innovation challenge to help accelerate technology development in Canada's oil sands.
Acceleration is acceleration. Entrepreneurs need resources and time, GE tries to buy them time by funding their research and ideas. Start fresh every day, collaboration is a way to buy time and reset every day.
