About the Course

This LNG operations training will enable suppliers, traders, distributors and shipowners/ship operators to understand the LNG terminal loading & discharging operations, custody transfer measurement, accidents that may occur during transportation and control potential claims from cargo loss/damages.

Attendees will acquire a fundamental understanding of the LNG value chain, the global trade routes, voyage analyses and cargo management, safety codes and charterer requirements, as well as technical procedures to prepare during tanker loading/discharging and insurance/claims issues.

Paul began his career as a dual-certified officer at sea before earning an MSc in International Shipping from Plymouth University in 1985. He then spent over three decades at Shell in various senior roles across trading, operations, and shipping. Now retired, he runs a global consultancy and training business specializing in LNG and maritime operations.
