Based in Singapore, Mr. Verma is the co-founder and General Partner of Leo Capital. He leads the funds’ investments in insurtech startups across South and South-East Asia. Investments include BeatO (Diabetes Management), Sheroes (women community), LoanSimple (SME loans) and others.

Previously, Mr Verma led open innovation for MetLife Asia and was part of the management team of LumenLab, MetLife's internal innovation consultancy. At MetLife, Mr Verma advised MetLife's country CEOs and senior leaders on growth, startup collaboration, new product development and lean startup techniques. He has extensive experience in emerging markets, particularly in India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, and Malaysia and emerging technologies like AR/VR, AI, Blockchain and IoT.

Mr Verma is a featured speaker on topics of Fintech (including Insurtech), digital health, innovation and organizational agility. He has delivered keynote addresses around the world and has contributed to industry publications.
