In her role as Head, J&J Innovation, North America, Michal, together with her team, is responsible for building, advancing, and managing the J&J External R&D portfolio of co-investments spanning across pharmaceutical, consumer health and medical devices. Prior to joining J&J, Michal headed the Harvard Medical Site of the Harvard Office of Technology Development. Previously, she held a number of business and R&D leadership positions, Board and SAB membership in biotech and tech companies, as well as not for profit organizations. She holds a Ph.D. from the Weizmann Institute of Science, an MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France, and a BA in Medicine from Hadassah Medical School, Hebrew University, Jerusalem.
