Semi Trotto is the Chief People Officer of Curie.Bio and brings more than 20 years of experience in human resources, with deep experience in company buildout during the growth phase of biotechs and a focus on talent acquisition and management, leading change and transformation, and individual and team coaching and development. Prior to Curie, Semi was at MOMA Therapeutics, where she served as Chief People and Experience Officer responsible for helping develop MOMA’s people, shaping company culture, and managing internal and external communications, facilities, IT and administration. Prior to that, Semi was at Thrive Earlier Detection, where she initially served as Chief People Officer since the company’s inception. In 2021, she was appointed General Manager following Thrive’s acquisition by Exact Sciences. Previously, Semi held roles as Vice President and Head of Human Resources at Editas Medicine and Vice President of Human Resources for Oncology at Baxalta until its acquisition by Shire. Earlier in her career, Semi spent 11 years at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where she held roles of increasing responsibility across the company’s R&D and commercial enterprises. Semi holds a B.S. in industrial management and economics from Carnegie-Mellon University and an MBA from Cornell University.
