Michaela brings over 16 years of pharmaceutical industry experience to Guidehouse. She has held several Medical Affairs roles spanning a number of countries in and across the Central Eastern European, Middle East and Africa (CEEMEA) region. Her focus has been on rare diseases (pulmonary arterial hypertension – PAH), various autoimmune diseases and as a pharmacist she has experience with Parkinson’s patients. She has led the establishment of a Medical field force (MSLs) in Germany, setting up Medical Affairs teams across CEEMEA and developing Centers of Excellence (CoEs) across the region. She joined Guidehouse in October 2020 and is based in Germany.
Michaela’s expertise resides in the areas of Medical Affairs, Compliance, Sales Training, Regulatory Affairs, Medical Information and Education.
Michaela provides expert consulting support for the setup, the implementation and the expansion of Medical Affairs teams, services and processes across the US, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Russia (including the Commonwealth of Independent States - CIS) for HCPs, patients, the general public and ministries of health (MoHs). She advises on Medical Governance and Compliance requirements for the development and approval of promotional material, development of Medical Information standard responses, and the development and management of key opinion leaders (KOLs). Michaela also provides input to new product developments, the development of Medical Affairs Plans, Sales and Product Trainings (in general for Sales teams).
Michaela holds a Master of Pharmacy degree from the London School of Pharmacy and recently obtained an international MBA. She is fluent in German, English, Hebrew, Russian and Serbian.
