Alice Forde is currently Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs – Vision Care at Bausch & Lomb. In this role Alice is the Global Regulatory leader for B+L’s Vision Care business unit.
Alice has 25+ years’ experience in the medical devices & pharma industry, having previously held roles in Teleflex, Medtronic, Boston Scientific, and Chanelle Pharma.
This experience encompasses many areas including primarily Regulatory Affairs, and also Quality systems, Vigilance, Compliance, Operations, HR, Talent Development, IT, Program & Project Management.
Alice also has extensive knowledge & experience of EU MDR, Standards and US/ROW Regulations, Audits including MDSAP, Lean Sigma practitioner.
Alice holds an MSc in HRD & Performance Management from the University of Leicester, a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Device Science from the University of Galway and certified PMP credential from the Project Management Institute.
Alice has been an active member of the Irish Medtech Association for the past 10 years and also represents Bausch + Lomb through Medtech Europe committees and WGs as required. She is also a mentor to women in professional roles through the Women@Lifesciences network.
