Gunnar is co-head of the global Healthtech+ group, a Steering Committee member of the dedicated Healthcare & Life Sciences sector group and a member of our global Tech group.

Being an Expert Lawyer for Intellectual Property Law with long-standing experience in the healthcare and healthtech sectors, Gunnar is specializing, amongst others, in med-tech, e-health as well as regulatory medical devices and pharmaceutical law, with a particular focus on European market regulation.

Gunnar regularly advises clients on AIA implementation and all related legal and regulatory questions. Between 2012 and 2015, Gunnar has also assumed – as external General Counsel – the direction of the German legal departments of a global biopharmaceutical company group as well as of one of the leading US retailers and distant selling companies, which gave him further helpful insights into the relevant markets.
