My name is Malene, I am a Master of Science in Molecular and Medical Biology, and I am a Biocompatibility Specialist at Convatec. My journey in the field of Medtech and Biocompatibility started 5 years ago when I first joined Convatec. At that time, I worked within R&D in a cross-functional position with both a scientific expertise focus and tasks on innovation, product development and life cycle management leveraging my scientific background within Human Biology. From there, I slowly began to get involved in writing Biological Evaluations and my interest in Biocompatibility was spiked before becoming a full time Biocompatibility SME and not looking back since.
