Rich de la Cruz has a unique set of skills having been both Senior Director of Quality (Software and Instrumentation), and Senior Director of Software Development. Rich has worked in the regulated medical industry for over 30 years and developed, worked on, or overseen the development of more than 25 medical devices (Infusion Pumps, Pain Pumps, Hemo and Peritoneal Dialysis Instruments, Class I & II Clinical Software and Systems, Pharmacy systems, EMR, etc.). As part of his consulting business Rich has worked with Medical Device companies across the world. Rich was the co-project leader of IEC 62304 2nd Edition from 2015 – 2021.
