Dr. Shaloo Sood is a senior professional with comprehensive knowledge and experience in The fields of Medical and In-vitro diagnostic devices, Risk Assessment, V&V strategy formulations & Computer System Validations for Medical Applications.

In 2010, she transitioned from academia to the industry and presently serves as the Team Leader of RDI Academy at the Straumann Group. In this pivotal capacity, she is entrusted with managing and mentoring team of emerging talents. Her previous roles encompassed the management of Product Development, Risk Management, and Design Control for medical devices.

Shaloo holds a M.Sc. in Biophysics and Ph.D. in Experimental Medicine and Biotechnology. Her interest lies in the advancement of AI-based devices, mobile health applications, and connected smart devices. In particular, the intricate challenges associated with Risk Analysis and Compliance in the context of such devices and applications.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Dr. Sood seeks to establish connections with fellow professionals to foster knowledge exchange and collaborative learning across a diverse spectrum of expertise.
