The first FCIPS, Chartered Status Procurement professional in the region, Lisa has worked in Procurement for almost 30 years. Beginning her career in Buckingham Palace, a start that embedded integrity and ethical behaviours into her procurement practice, Lisa is an advocate for transparent processes that seek to eliminate the opportunities for corruption in Procurement. Having experience in both private and public sectors and working under legislation in the UK, Europe, Saudi Arabia and UAE, one of Lisa’s passions in Procurement is to broaden the capabilities of the supply base and to ensure fluent communications between suppliers and buyers. As a Head of Procurement in the UK, Lisa led teams through procurement change. She has experience in delivering Procurement Transformation - most recently delivering transformation at University of Sharjah in 150 days - developing strategies around national collaborative procurement across sectors, implementing eProcurement platforms and instigating and delivering staff and supplier education programmes.
