Gus Cabrera is the principal of Evergreen Venture Group, a real estate consulting and investment firm focused on multifamily attainable housing and strategic development opportunities across South Florida.

Gus is a seasoned external affairs consultant with extensive experience at the intersection of real estate, government, and public policy. He has advised developers on governmental matters, legislative advocacy, and the pursuit of public incentives for complex real estate projects, including infrastructure grants, property tax incentives and exemptions, public-private partnerships, and public financing agreements for large mixed-used developments. He has also advocated for improvements to SB 102 (the Live Local Act) and other attainable housing legislation.

He began his career in the public infrastructure sector with one of South Florida largest publicly traded companies and is a past President of the Latin Builders Association, one of the largest Hispanic construction trade associations in the United States.
