What is the format of this course?
This course is a combination of online learning through recorded lectures and live sessions. The live instruction is designed to provide a direct connection to the course instructor and fellow students and apply learnings from the lectures. Participation in the live sessions is required.
How can I access the course?
The course is hosted on Moodle and any live sessions associated with the course will take place on Zoom. Live sessions will be recorded and posted to Moodle within three business days.
When will I receive my log-on details for the course?
A member of our team will be in touch within a week before the start date with your joining details to access the online course platform.
How do I earn the course certificate?
By attending all of the live sessions.
What if I have to miss a live session?
Please notify EBD Operations staff and the Instructors as far as advance as possible. If you are assigned to a group project for the session you will miss, please notify your group. You can still complete the course if you miss one live session.
Will there be quizzes?
No. Participation in the live sessions is required to complete the course. Each live session will review and discuss the previous exercise, answer any questions, and present the next exercise.
Can I join after the course start date?
You should join the course at the start date although late participation can be reconsidered on a case-by-case basis depending on how far along the course is.
How long is my enrolment on the course?
You are enrolled on the course for the period that modules are being released (available 25 October). You can access the course content in Moodle until 30 days after the course concludes.
