Profile
Graduated in Agronomy, master's degree and PhD in Agronomy (Phytopathology) at Federal University of Viçosa, with an interchange program at the University of Guelph (Canada). Served as professor of plant pathology (FESURV - UniRV-GO) and Environmental Microbiology (PUC-Campinas). Now is a researcher of the Brazilian Agricultural Research Corporation, at Embrapa Environment. Has experience in Agronomy with emphasis on Plant pathology, working on issues: epidemiology, biological control and bio-compatible methods in the control of plant diseases. Acted as Chairman of the Committee (CGPort) of Rational Management of Pesticides. Acted as the Coordinator of the Working Group on Biological Control of the Southern Cone Plant Health Committee (COSAVE). He is a member of the RenovaBio - Brazilian Biofuels Policy Committee, working on sustainability metrics. As a manager, he held positions of Head of Communication and Business, Head of Technology Transfer and Head of Research and Development. Since December 2015 is a General Head at Embrapa Environment.
