Dr. Piyatida (Tung) Pukclai has degrees in Bioresource Science for Manufacturing – Plant Biochemistry with specializations in Plant Pathology and Biological Control that reduce the chemical use in agriculture, determine the efficiency of plants or microorganisms and improve them to be the biological control agents for farmers as well as assessment of allelopathic potential of selected plants and the possibility of using allelochemicals bio-herbicides for weed management.

She is an Asia-Pacific Sales and Regulatory Policy Manager of knoell group, an independent service provider for Regulatory Affairs and Product Registration over 25 years. Currently, she is looking after new regulatory policies and guidance development in different Asia countries, focusing on regulatory frameworks impacting agricultural productivity: plant protection products for chemical and non-chemical solutions, fertilizers, and also trends and future of Precision Ag regarding regulatory development, policies and enforcement.

She has been active as a speaker at various international conferences and workshops, article and content writing on key sectors like crop protection&nutrition, industrial chemicals, biocides, and animal health — additionally, she leads business development activities for the Asia-Pacific region including client interactions, and project management.
