Educated as an Agronomist, Thomas started his career as a researcher at the Institute of Plant Nutrition at the University Hohenheim studying gaseous losses in Nitrogen. Throughout his entire career, Thomas has always taken the opportunity to delve deeper into the many innovative ways to take responsible positions within the fertilizer industry whilst engaging in improving the efficiency of fertilizers at the interface level between science and commercialization. In his current role as Global Head of Agronomy at Fertiglobe, Thomas is responsible for finding sustainable fertilizer solutions that serve both the demands of the Agronomists and the environment
