Samuel Rabkin is Professor of Neurosurgery (Microbiology) at Harvard Medical School, Boston MA, and Virologist in Neurosurgery at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, MA. He has been involved in the development of oncolytic herpes simplex viruses (oHSVs) for over 25 years, from virus engineering to therapeutic combinations to clinical trial. He obtained his PhD at the University of Chicago, was an Assistant Member at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, NY, and an Associate Professor at Georgetown University Medical Center, Washington DC before moving to Harvard.
