Chris has recently stepped in the Investment Association's Head of Tax role having joined the UK Investment Management trade body back in 2020.

At the IA Chris has responsibility for all tax-related policy areas of the organisation; including Withholding Taxes, VAT, Corporation Tax, Stamp, Capital Gains Tax and supports on wider product related topics initiatives like ISAs, Pensions, Tokenisation and UK funds.

Before the Investment Association Chris worked across a number of the large US banks including State Street, BNY and JPMorgan, focusing primarily on fund taxation.
