Gonçalo Pereira is a Tax Product Director in BNY Mellon’s Tax Product Management team. Gonçalo provides leadership and expertise in a number of areas, including Tax Transparent Funds (TTFs) and Capital Gains Tax (CGT). He also supports client’s needs across all business lines within Asset Servicing and dedicated tax advisory support for key platinum clients.

Gonçalo joined BNY Mellon in 2022 from State Street where he served as Product Lead for EMEA TTFs. Prior to that, Gonçalo was an International Tax Manager at PwC at both their Luxembourg and Dublin offices and before that he was a lecturer of International and EU Tax Law at Maastricht University, Netherlands.

Gonçalo participates in a number of industry associations dealing with the impact of international tax developments on asset management and global funds.
