Lawyer and economist specialized in international taxation. Extensive experience in direct and indirect tax issues and public affairs through more than 15 years working as policy maker in the European Commission and the Spanish Ministry of Finance and as tax auditor within the Spanish Tax Administration. Active participation in recent EU legislative tax proposals.

Within the Spanish Administration, she worked in the International Tax Office dealing with transfer pricing issues and as head of financial advisory in the Cabinet of the Secretary of State for Finance. She joined the European Commission five years ago as a Seconded National Expert in the direct taxation and administrative cooperation Unit.
