Mariano was Managing Director at Bank of New York from 2011 to July 2024in London and Madrid when he was responsible for various executive roles:Global Head of Tax & Regulatory, Head of EMEA Digital, Global Head ofStrategy for Banks, Broker Dealers and Insurances, Iberia RegionalExecutive, Madrid Branch Manager, London Site Head. Mariano also workedas Director at JP Morgan Chase Treasury & Securities Services Global TaxServices in London. Prior to this, Mariano was a tax lawyer at CuatrecasasLaw Firm in Barcelona.

Mariano holds a Leadership Program at Cambridge University, a Masters in Finance from the London School of Economics; a Masters in International Tax Laws from Georgetown University, Washington DC; a Degree in Research in International Tax Law from the University of Barcelona; a Degree in Tax Consultancy and Management from ESADE Law School Barcelona; and a Law Degree from the University of Zaragoza.
