Axel joined the No Plastic Waste Initiative within Minderoo Foundation one of the largest philanthropies in Australasia as Public Affairs Associate in February 2023 after 5 years as head of EU and international affairs for Citeo, the french Extended Producer Responsability (EPR) organisation for household packaging and graphic papers, and experiences in the high administration and advisory firm for the public sector.

The No Plastic Waste Initiative is actively advocating for laws and policies which end plastic waste leakage to our environmental through increasing transparency in the plastic value chain, investing in new technology and innovations, and by working with the industry to improve recycling of plastic waste and reduction of plastic use.

Axel works very closely with all the actors of the packaging value chain on the circular economy package negotiation and implementation, the national plastics pacts and EPR implementation.

He’s also lecturer on circular economy at Les Mines ParisTech engineering school and pro-bono advisor for the International Council of Circular Economy

He graduated from the University Paris Dauphine (Master in Law and Regulatory Markets) and from the College of Europe (LL.M in EU law)
