Axel is a dedicated advocate for the circular economy, driving policy development and implementation since 2017. With a background in EU and international affairs, he has held leadership roles at various organisations, including a Producers Responsibility Organisation as head of international and European affairs and a Foundation focused on circular economy policies related to plastic.

Currently, Axel serves as an independent consultant for diverse public and private entities, providing expert guidance on regulatory analysis, business strategy, and advocacy campaigns to accelerate the transition to a circular economy model worldwide.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Axel shares his knowledge as a lecturer at Les Mines ParisTech and Sciences Po Strasbourg. He also contributes pro bono to the International Council of Circular Economy.

Axel holds advanced degrees in Law and Regulatory Markets from the University Paris Dauphine and EU law from the College of Europe.
