Marc GUIRAUD Secretary General of EucoLight, European Association of lighting WEEE compliance schemes - Marc GUIRAUD joined EucoLight in June 2015, at the time EucoLight was created. EucoLight is the voice of producer responsibility organisations responsible for the collection and recycling of lighting products (e.g. lamps and luminaires) on behalf of lighting producers. Marc has been working on the steady development of the association to act as interface between the members and the European institutions, and in liaison with the stakeholders of the value chain. Prior to joining, he worked as policy director for several European trade associations where he gained a strong knowledge of European affairs and advocacy as well as a proven track record in defending several industrial sectors with a strong focus on environmental and internal market policies. Marc is a regular speaker in various conferences dealing with the management of end-of-life lighting products, circular economy and the enforcement of extended producer responsibility.

Marc is graduated in European law from Rennes University in France.
