Maria Vera-Duran holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and an MBA from the University of Malaga (Spain). She worked as project coordinator at the University of Malaga for almost 5 years, where she contributed to projects on managerial excellence and internationalization strategy. She joined EuRIC (the European Recycling Industries’ Confederation) in 2021. She focusses on regulatory issues related to plastics recycling, packaging, and packaging waste, as well as on research and innovation projects funded by the EU.
