Mike has 32 years’ experience in the resource management and recycling sector with around half of his career having been spent in commercial roles in industry and the remainder as a consultant. Throughout his career he has been heavily involved in the packaging recycling supply chain. He has an in-depth knowledge of operational, commercial, and policy issues related to waste packaging collection, sorting, and recycling as well as extended producer responsibility. Mike provides consultancy services to companies in the resource management and recycling sectors as well as to brand owners. He is Managing Director of EPRO, the association focused on plastics circularity, chairs the technical group in EXPRA (Extended Producer Responsibility Alliance), and is a technical and EPR consultant to CEFLEX (A Circular Economy for Flexible Packaging).
