Doreen Rice has been building and leading patient assistance, reimbursement, and support programs for over 18 years. Currently serving as Director, Patient Assistance Programs within US Patient Support for AstraZeneca, Doreen’s primary focus is leading AstraZeneca’s AZ&Me Prescription Savings Program.
Doreen began her career in the industry in 2005 with a 3rd party vendor organization as part of a Medicare Part D education team and has held various leadership roles across Operations, Program Strategy & Design, and Client Management. She has worked with several Top 10 pharmaceutical manufacturers in designing, implementing, and managing patient assistance, patient support, and reimbursement programs. Doreen brought her passion for patients to AstraZeneca in 2018. Since joining AstraZeneca, she has led several seamless program transitions while simultaneously leading the implementation of a series of program improvements.
Doreen is a proud graduate of Morgan State University (HBCU) with a degree in Marketing.
