Joanna Stevens joined Cencora in June 2023 as Vice President Enterprise Solutions & Sales, working across the broad offerings of Cencora for top global biopharma partners. She has held commercial leadership roles in large, mid-size, and start up global pharmaceutical organizations throughout her three decades in healthcare.
Prior to Cencora, Joanna was Vice President, at Idorsia, where she built the US commercial sales and operations team for the launch of three assets. She spent 2017-2020 at Takeda where she joined as Vice President, Head of Field Engagement, leading sales, and community education teams. Joanna was promoted to the US Franchise Head for Rare Bleeding Disorders, leading the sales and marketing of eight in line brads and the development of two phase 3 assets with full P&L responsibility.
Joanna spent 19 years at Johnson & Johnson in a variety of sales and marketing roles, where she joined in sales, advanced to sales leadership and then into professional and consumer marketing working across late cycle and launch brands.
Joanna launched the payer and access strategy for XARELTO® which became a blockbuster brand in the US within two years of launch. She returned to sales leadership and led the cardiovascular specialty sales team as National Sales Director, where she championed innovation and new business models. Joanna moved to a senior strategy role for the largest sector at Johnson and Johnson, testing new customer facing teams across market access and medical for advanced healthcare markets.
Joanna is passionate about driving collaboration across the healthcare ecosystem and finding solutions that enable patients to benefit from transformational treatments.
