John spent 37 years with Johnson & Johnson where he held various Leadership roles in Finance, Marketing, Strategic Account Management, and Corporate Strategy. His driving passion as a leader throughout the past 20 years has been shepherding JJHCS’s Health Policy & Advocacy team towards fulfilling a mission to create a future world where disease is a thing of the past.

John and his team have effectively shaped policies supporting patients’ continued access to life-saving therapies. Through this advocacy, John and his team have

delivered numerous wins, of which a few noteworthy accomplishments are highlighted here:

•Driving the creation of a complex infusion code to ensure appropriate reimbursement for providers of Part B drugs.

•Helping to enact state legislation prohibiting non-medical switching and copay accumulator/maximizer programs.

•Leading the HPA team to recognition as the #1 policy/advocacy team in the US pharmaceutical industry for 8 straight years by the Brooks Group ADVOCATE survey.

John played a key leadership role in establishing Janssen’s commitment to and focused energy toward ensuring that addressing health disparities became ingrained in all Janssen’s business processes. Janssen was recognized as the best in the best in the pharmaceutical industry in the recent ELAVAY HEALTH EQUITY SURVEY
