Kaushal is Brand Counsel in the Oncology Business Unit for Takeda Pharmaceuticals. He advises on legal issues related to FDA Ad Promo regulations, the Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, U.S. Securities filings, and various other legal matters. Kaushal’s internal client groups include Commercial, Medical, Corporate Communications, Data, Digital & Technology, Patient Access, and Patient Advocacy teams. Prior to joining Takeda, Kaushal was an Assistant Attorney General in the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office where he handled FCA and AKS cases and other healthcare fraud related matters. Prior to that he spent six years as an Assistant District Attorney in the District Attorney’s office in Boston.
