Ryan Holeywell has nearly two decades of communications experience in Texas and in Washington, D.C. At The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, he leads communications across the non-profit’s mission portfolio, developing messages that highlight the myriad ways the organization extends and improves the lives of cancer patients and their families. He previously led public relations at the Texas Medical Center and Rice University's Kinder Institute for Urban Research. Before working in nonprofits, Holeywell spent 10 years as a journalist. His stories have been published by the Washington Post and USA Today, and he has appeared on CNN, NPR and CNBC to discuss his work.
