Michael is responsible for overseeing and advising Mercalis Patient Affordability programs and providing consultative strategy to its life science partners. In his previous role, Michael’s team provided strategic direction for solution capabilities (including government exclusion) and best practice program design recommendations. As a charter member of Valeris' fraud solutions, Michael has extensive knowledge of identifying and combating fraud and abuse of patient affordability programs. Prior to Valeris, Michael held various roles focused on pharmacy workflow software tools.

Michael is an active member of the National Council for Prescription Drugs Programs (NCPDP) and holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and an MBA from Madonna University.
