Camille Jimenez
Program Lead, Institute of Translational Equitable Medicine at Pfizer
Speaker

Profile

Camille Jimenez is the Program Lead for the Institute of Translational Equitable Medicine (ITEM) at Pfizer where she leads a team focused on developing and implementing strategies to help address health disparities and improve patient outcomes through translational science. Camille led the development of Pfizer’s Health Equity Roadmap in 2020, a framework that has since been adapted to guide the organization’s broader efforts in integrating health equity into its strategies.

Her work has centered on advancing equity and increasing diversity in pre-clinical, clinical research and care, particularly in underserved communities. She partners across industries in the U.S. and internationally to promote equity in healthcare and research. Camille is driven by a strong desire to understand and address the multi-level factors contributing to poorer health outcomes in vulnerable populations, and to develop strategies that move the needle toward optimal health for all patients — at local, national, and global levels.
