Matthew Howatt is Senior Director, Head of Legal Affairs at Sun Pharma, where he advises the global enterprise on a broad array of issues including litigation/investigations, regulatory, and transactional matters. Previously, Howatt served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Earlier, Howatt served in the Office of General Counsel of U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and before that he was in private practice at Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP in New York. He holds an LL.M. from Penn, a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, and a B.A. from McGill.
