Profile

Samara has been in the healthcare field for more than 25 years and has been a Registered Nurse for 22 years. Samara started at VMS in 2019 as a clinical educator after 10 years of telephonic rare disease management and moved into a clinical training role. Her current role as Director of Clinical Operations allows her the opportunity to ensure our programs are highly collaborative, positive patient experiences and with her knowledge of HUB services, Specialty Pharmacy, benefits, rare disease case management and education, she strives to promote highly engaging interactions with the patients we support.

Samara has extensive experience with rare disease management, specialty drugs, and case management working to ensure the patients have smooth transition of care from the moment medication is prescribed, through benefits verification/investigations, specialty pharmacy needs, injection/medication training and ongoing support. Her experience in nursing includes director of clinical services, HCP office management, medical device and home health, nurse case management, health education, content creator, educator, and training roles. Samara’s motto is “How can I help?” and she strives to break down barriers for patients and educators to provide the most positive outcomes and more confident patients. She is driven, goal-oriented and passionate about her role and strives to be the cheerleader for patients, nurses, HCPs and employees here at VMS.
