Patrick Massad is the Commissioner of the Pharmaceutical Advertising Advisory Board (PAAB), where he has served since 2002. He began his career at PAAB as a reviewer and progressed through roles as Chief Review Officer and Deputy Commissioner before assuming his current role as Commissioner. Patrick holds a pharmacy degree from the University of Toronto and has practiced as both a community and hospital pharmacist. For several years, Patrick was an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) evaluator for the Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC). Patrick also completed the Canadian Association of Executives (CSAE) program, earning the CAE designation. Additionally, he serves on the CSAE’s National Awards and Recognition Committee and the National Conference Education Committee. Patrick is currently pursuing Chartered Market Technician (CMT) certification.
